It had to be about Leonard.....

Not the best photo that's for sure....i took it of a facebook page....which of course has been full of images, songs, videos and talk of this astonishing man!  One of my favorites is here......K.D. Lang....she sings her heart out with this song.    here.
 

CBC devoted the whole 2 hours of Q this morning...it was wonderful and sad and full of that sense of disbelief....we really do believe our heroes will go on forever!   In an interview about 3 weeks ago he actually did say that.....see this lovely clip..... here. 

As a teenager growing up in Scotland in the 60's Leonard's music was everywhere...every party or just hanging out....eventually the mood would mellow and we'd listen to every word...and we pretty well knew every word of his music of that time.  I still listen to him often in the studio.....and of course today was totally given over to him.   I moved between tears of sadness at the loss of this great man and tears for the very young and crazy girls we were back then....what a ride it was!
