Drizzled......

.....a day for slippers, winter clothes and hot food, it was a chilly 12C - brrr!

While I wasn't feeling very 'alive' the garden is certainly looking refreshed with it's bright shades of green and branches hanging low. Unfortunately the rain has ruined the rhododendrons, luckily yesterday's Lem's Cameo is the first head to open, the rest are still in bud.

I just popped my head out the front door with the long lens on board and managed to get this shot. I had to stand on tippy-toes to avoid getting our trellis :) I wasn't in the mood to wander round a water bogged garden with drips falling from the branches, for sure one would've wriggled it's way down my neck :))

A wet start to the weekend, good for our local farmers :)
