Day 253- Yellow waters/Twin falls/Mt bundy station

Such a good sleep! Actually woke when the alarm went off. On the way to the showers a little dingo was hanging around. 6.30 cruise down yellow waters river. Safe to say other than the tillbilla nature reserve, it is one of the best things since being here in australia. I was 2m away from a 5.5m long crocodile in its natural habitat. It was just insane, so close that I could see it's eye roll over when it was starting to get annoyed with us being there. We traveled with it until the croc spotted a female, the female did a huge cry, to say 'please don't bite me in half.' The croc had other intentions, but she wasn't in the mood so she swam away. Felt like I was on David attenbourgh. Half way through and we saw this really strange thing bobbing up and down in the water, it was only a bloody wallaby!! I didn't even know they could swim! Had a death wish though that's for sure. Also alot of birds out on the river amongst the huge beautiful lilly pads including the white bellied sea eagle and a cute little blue Kingfisher. Everyone on that boat couldn't stop smiling when we got back to shore, one of the girls even throw her arms around the guide haha. Then Rowdy took us to a water hole, which only 10 guides in Australia know about, mainly cause you have to physically rock climb to get down to it, but it was unreal! One of the smaller holes you jump through and the only way to get back out is to swim down under it. Also had a water fall, it was one of those places you think celebs pay big bucks for; a place not alot of people know about so it's not all weathered away and spoiled. Just beautiful. We had to be careful on this walk as a big buffalo was on the loose haha.  We then headed to a less special water hole  which was still lovely and there was a huge bat cave there, I was dying to go inside. On to a 3rd water hole for lunch which again had a lovely waterfall, I was the only one to get in this one haha I was surrounded by fish, felt like a mermaid.
We are staying at mount Bundy station. And this place has nearly brought me to tears. Such a incredible place. Wallabys everywhere, peacocks, a bull named Niel that let me pet him, toads jumping everywhere, just unbelievable. Went for a little walk to see the termmites. Some of them are more than 5m high! And then I watched the sunset with Niel the bull. Super food made my Rowdy again and a nice camp fire to finish a fantastic day!
