Sweet 18 on Father's Day

Today has been a busy day and unfortunately hubby didn't get as much pampering on this Father's day that he deserves. No breakfast to the bed! Instead we woke up early and hurried to get Emma ready to leave to Espoo, where B-girls had their national series match against Honka 2. Girls traveled there by bus together with I-div. girls who had match in Lauttasaari (Touhun Pojat Lauttasaari - Pyrintö Red  54 - 52)

Hubby, Leevi and me went to see a charity auction at Tampereen Sähkölaitos. Famous auctioneers Aki and Heli Palsanmäki plus their friend Markku ran the auction, which was held outdoors. It was our first aution ever! Hubby and Leevi bid something, but didn't buy anything. Prizes went quite high. And it was super cold to stand there still!

We left in the middle of the event to hubby's parents, where we had lunch. We followed Emma's game via online live statistics. At first it looked very bad, Honka 2 had already 20 points lead on the second period. Then Pyrintö started to reach them and on the last period, two minutes before the end Pyrintö lead by 2 points. Lady Fortuna smiled to Honka girls and in the end Pyrintö lost by 4 points. What a fight! Pyrintö won 2nd, 3rd and 4th periods, but the first period was really weak. Waiting for the rematch!

Then it was time to head to our goddaughter Ilona's birthday party. She turned 18 yesterday. 18! In the picture the birthday girl herself. She'll have her driving licence test tomorrow, lets keep our fingers crossed! Later Leevi picked up Emma from Tampere, and she joined party for awhile. Then we went home and had small Father's day festivities.
