Hen

Spent the afternoon at my mate Jo's Hen party... 

It was fab...  it was the women's institute version of a hen do... no strippers or dodgy night clubs here... Instead it was all about the cake and craft ... 

So we all took part in a craft session where we got to make our own wicker man style floral head dresses,  then there was lots of nibbles, cheese, snacks, cake and bubbles and tea galore. Really relaxed and perfect to bring Jo's different groups of friends together 

I had a few hours away from little un, just enjoying the company of friends , adult conversation and not having to be vigilant about somebody else's safety and wellbeing... but having said that I was back in time for bath time and snuggles... 

The close to a lovely, chilled celebratory weekend...
