Misty, wet and miserable!

Well, that's the sort of day we've had. Our own fault for living amongst the hills I suppose. It has rained all day and I have hardly stepped out of the house. Then in the evening we had a meeting in Kendal and I had two minutes out of the car to take this picture - in the rain.

So this is: mist over the Howgills, the River Lune in full flow and the bridge taking the Tebay to Kendal road over the river and the M6.

Tomorrow we head down to London. The forecast is for sunshine and high temperatures over the weekend and my daughter says that's what they've had today. It's hard to pack sunglasses when it's misty and wet outside!
