A Walk in the Park

Another picture perfect fall day. 3 girlfriends, 4 dogs and i went for a lovely crisp and invigorating 2 hr walk today. The big bushy dog in the pix is a bernadoodle - Burmese mountain dog and standard poodle cross. He is 7 months old and so happy, friendly AND mellow. We adored him, if i gad more room at home and wasnt gone such long hours i would want one. Upon arriving home i jumped in to cooking mode and made 2 dozen of my grandmother's irange cranberry muffins, a double batch of granola and a pork roast with roasted root veggies. We then toddled off to the neighbours for a nightcap glass of wine and to test the new pastry...and it was fabulous! A huge success. My sweetie us preparung himself fir retirement nicely.
