Girl's Day Out

A BIG "Thank you" to the Veterans of our country.  Their service is humbling.....and we are grateful!

With no school....and no work for me......we headed to a nearby town for a girl's day.  We had been planning it for a week...and were pretty darn excited.  Sugar has a very special little thing on her Christmas list this year.....A HAMSTER!    She has been doing unbelievable amounts of research since September.  She knows sooooooooooo much about hamsters at this point.  So we went to this town to do some more info gather, and to meet some pet store hamsters to make she of what breed she wants.  This was darn exciting. The pet store was our first stop of the day.  The workers were busy cleaning cages, so we didn't get a chance to touch a hamster, but got to watch them....and look at all the supplies and gather prices.  Sugar was over the top happy.

We ran to other stores.....for craft supplies.......and some odds and ends.  We had a lovely lunch together, and enjoyed seeing all the veterans eating for free.  Very special.

Right before heading home, we stopped at the pet store one more time, and Sugar got to hold and pet a little hamster.  She fell in love....but we are not ready.  We have a enclosure to build.....and stuff to buy.  Christmas time is going to be full of Hamster JOY at our house.  Love it.
