Old faithful

My watch needs a new battery. So I had a look in the "old watches" box and found this one which is over 40 years old. All the others had stopped due to battery decline....I didn't realise how tatty it has become, the macro really shows up the scratches and stains.

I remembered this one because I sent Bob off to get a new battery for it once, not realising it was one of these you wind up. Ha ha, it has come in handy after all - as I wound it up and away it went.

Just home from work at 8pm, we had a late meeting. No rest for the wicked.
