4 years on

Back blipped 15/11/16
I have been meaning to start blipping again for months, not sure why I am finding it so difficult.
Today it has been 4 years since Rafi had his first brain hemorrhage and our lives were changed in a moment.
The memories of those early days have faded now thanks goodness. Rafi was very keen to celebrate this anniversary, he realises that he is lucky to be here and wanted to celebrate how far he has come.
The whole immediate family ( and Luke) gathered for the occasion. We went out for a Mexican meal and then on for a game of bowling. We had fun, and Rafi managed as usual to send his bowling ball down the adjacent lane!
Rafi is still such a happy lad, he is always the life and soul of any family gathering. He has a daft sense of humour and a crazy laugh!
He is now at college studying creative media. He still needs support due to his poor memory ( which probably causes more issues than his mobility problems these days). Rafi can walk around the house holding onto the furniture or anything else to hand. He still falls over sometimes, but doesn't usually hurt himself ( although he does break a lot of household items!).
Outdoors he still needs a wheelchair, but has his power chair so he has some independence if he wants it. We are waiting for some funding for a lightweight self propelled chair and I'm hoping he might use this more in the future.
Rafi keeps himself (and us) busy and still enjoys rock climbing and racerunning.
I am hoping to keep blipping now, I still look back at my old blips and can't believe how much progress Rafi has made, and long may it continue.
