Family

That's an interesting word. Most people think of family as blood relatives. Blood does make us family. Shared experiences ,core values, deep friendships and love can bond us into family. Growing up as an adopted only child, I learned to embrace this broad concept of family .
Tonight we celebrated Thanksgiving with our church family. We had boiled shrimp, fried catfish, French fries, hush puppies, corn on the cob,boiled potatoes, coleslaw and all the trimmings! Such a blessing to be able to celebrate with people we love.
