Abstract Thursday 73 - Fauvism

I had never heard of Fauvism I am ashamed to say.  Looked it up, and as far as I understand it they used colour as a thing in itself to express what they were trying to say.  The colour was usually independent of the subject, and the brush strokes were wild.  I am probably way out with this explanation   Any way this is my interpretation of the moon shining in a bright blue sky this morning, in a Fauvist style.  Have faffed in PhotoPlus and Pic Monkey.

Thank you to Ingeborg for really making me think and for introducing me to an artistic movement I knew nothing about.  I never cease to be amazed at the things you learn through Blip.
