Coombe Hill Monument

As a suitable blip of Remembrance Day, this is a memorial to the men from Buckinghamshire who died in the Second Boer War. It was a sunny morning for a gentle walk; and without the wind, not as cold as the previous days. There are good views of the countryside from the top of the hill.

Once again I was pleased to see how well my sister-in-law was walking after her hip replacement.
