Always the bridesmaid

A group of us came second out of 25 teams at a Cambridge pub quiz, and won a bottle of wine. We excelled at geography and the music round (pictured) during which I was able to identify the jungle intro noises of the late 90s 'hit' Dr Jones by Aqua. Other people of my generation: don't pretend you couldn't either.

Lowlight of the evening was eating a pork scratching. The texture and I do not gel.

The team name was because one of us had stumbled on such phallus shaped geological formations in the office earlier. These bizarre things happen when you have to research far flung places as part of your work.

We also came second in the bonus round to guess the length of a random river flowing through the Pakistani Punjab. Destined never to attain full glory.
