Eleven

Today our garden was visited by eleven Fallow deer at one time; no you cannot see them all in this picture, they were spread about the garden.  Mrs GOG was in the kitchen cooking lunch and the kitchen windows were all steamed up, preventing me getting into a good place to photograph them.  Even if I had got into a good place I would never have got more than seven, at one go, in a single picture.  The only location I could take the pictures from was the conservatory, where there were massive white reflections in the glass, hence the flare in the centre of this picture.  These deer stayed in our garden for perhaps fifteen minutes, which is longer than usual, frantically eating the apples and other fruit that they could access.  In addition to the reflections our bird feeder was very much in the way.  Nevertheless I could not miss this opportunity of showing this many deer at one time.
