Trip Down Memory Lane

Today my Mum had an appointment with the surgeon to discuss her options.

He explained everything in detail and I could see my mum relax as he gained her confidence. He had a great sense of humour and we came out feeling very positive.

The image I decided on for today's Blip, is one of our old house, in The Avenue. It is very close to the hospital and when my Grandfather was admitted many years ago, we used to wave to him from our garden. The hospital has changed beyond recognition but it was very nostalgic seeing the house. I lived here for seven years, from the age of eleven, until I joined the WRNS.
