Waiting

This afternoon the annual Motorcycle Toy Run took place in Dumfries - big-hearted bikers collect toys for underprivileged children to receive at Christmas, and 100s of bikes roar up to the Midsteeple with a police escort. 

The Samba Sisters were there to welcome them with a few numbers. I had misjudged the temperature - it was seriously cold and we had to keep moving to stay warm enough to play...it was good fun, though, and the town had a decidedly festive air, even though the lights haven't been switched on yet..
