Torso spread with age,
Showing the scars of life lived,
Enduring and strong.




Gorgeous weather this morning, sunshine and clear skies, with a crunchy frost underfoot.  


I was photographing leaves when I noticed the shape of this tree  trunk ... it looks to me like a person, standing square and resolute with the arms reaching out ....  a bit fanciful?


By the afternoon the weather had changed, it got dark and cloudy and then the heavens opened .... nice to be snug and warm indoors .... hard for those poor souls who don't have an indoors to call their own....
