Sweet Crab Apple Tree

Gales and rain last night but all is calm now. The hazelnut tree which is always the last to lose its leaves is now almost bare, but the crab apples are hanging on in there. Looking back at my photos the blackbirds seem to wait until December to start feeding on them - they are probably sweeter then  -  so watch this space!  Look HERE to see this tree on a much finer day three years ago!  Have a nice day:)
