Roundhay Park yesterday lunchtime

Well yesterday was a pretty exhausting day.  It hadn't been a good night for sleeping, probably for no other reason than it was a strange bed.  We managed to get the grandkids to school on time and then gave ourselves an hour or so in the morning before setting off to reconnoitre our route later in the day.  I was quite pleased we did as I think finding the Gymnastics Club in Seacroft might have been much harder in the dark, especially as Bobby fell asleep in the car.  (I was amazed at how quickly he came round when we arrived - that's not always been our experience in the past.)  We also managed to locate Jimmy's Marshall Arts Club on the way back, all in all quite an achievement.  It meant we weren't home until around 7.30pm and then had to have some supper before bedtime.  So a long day.

The tree photo was taken in Roundhay Park where we decided to stop for some lunch.  A very pleasant interlude in our day.
