Beyond Carravagio

I went to the Beyond Carravaggio exhibition at the Nat Gallery today. It was really good with stunning pictures. However it was too crowded - as these exhibitions usually are. So, dear Blippers, I have found the solution...

...what you do if you get a timed ticket is go in at the beginning of the time on the ticket (usually a half hour slot) and have a quick walk round when everyone else has just arrived. Then, when you have finished 20 minutes will have passed. By this point not may people are coming in for your half hour slot so you go round again, this time with clear spaces in front of the pictures. Result.

There, you can have that tip for nothing.

The thing about Caravaggio and his followers is that the pictures are dark with a shaft of light illuminating a point of the painting. I saw this man browsing in the bookshop afterwards and thought it was a bit Carravagioesque. Well, sort of.
