Reflections of the Cutty Sark

The Cutty Sark was built in Dumbarton on the River Clyde in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line and was one of the last tea clippers ever made – as well as one of the fastest.

She has been berthed in Greenwich next to the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel since 1954. She now serves as a Museum celebrating its illustrious history.

Badly damaged by fire in 2007 during a conservation project, the Cutty Sark has now been fully restored.
