Bridge 126e

This is bridge 126e, the Cambrian Road bridge, the latest addition to my growing Shropshire Union canal bridge series.

In the background you can just about see bridge 126 which I blipped on April 28th 2016. This begs the question, what happened to bridges 126 a to d. Looking at the map I'm wondering if it might be related to a small branch which leads to the River Dee so I'll have to check that out.

It is very functional from underneath but this is not so noticeable from above where the area does have a more Victorian feel. In years gone by this would have been a much more important route as it links the old boatyards with the housing in Garden Lane and Bouverie Street. Its close to the university and is used a lot by the students who now live in the area.
