Hadlow Road

Hadlow Road is a former station serving Willaston on the Hooton to West Kirby branch of the Birkenhead railway. It opened in 1866 and closed to passenger traffic in 1956 and freight in 1962. The route became the Wirral Way footpath and part of Wirral Country Park in 1973. The station has been preserved to give it an authentic 1950s look although this signal box actually comes from Hassall Green in Staffordshire.

As this was taken with my widest angle I thought I would submit it for wide angle Wednesday hosted by Bob's Blips.
