Heaven Scent

This time of year is the very best time for roses. The rose shown here is one I planted last year. It is called Heaven Scent and is a very unusual colour. It also has a delicate fragrance. If I want a really good "rose fix" I visit the Rose Garden in Pollard Park. It's a great place to go to in the very early morning when the dew is still on the roses. It's an escape from the worry of earthquakes.
