Day 1 - the build-up..What can possibly go wrong?!

I am writing this with hind-sight as I have only just found the time to back-blip all the shots from the last 2 weeks! (today is actually the 19th)

Evening on our first day of setting up the 15th ICCCR at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate. Already there are huge problems - The ground is still very wet after more torrential rain yesterday so we aren't allowed on the main campsite yet, which means that all the volunteers and about 30 guests from mainland Europe are currently camped in the disabled camping area. They will have to move to the main campsite on Wednesday when it officially opens!

The two guys who are supposed to be the chiefs are nowhere to be found and have left me to deal with the huge problems in the toilet and shower department!

This evening the sun shines though and I found our old car (orange GS) parked next to our newest one (yellow DS) in the car park of the pub where we have all just eaten a delicious supper!
