Our favourite tree.

Our favourite because we own it. It is part of a small area of woodland which we bought three years ago for conservation.

The tree is a Small Leaved Lime. Not very common and one of the largest in the area. It all grows from one set of roots but you may notice that it is multi trunked. This may be because it is growing on some old limestone pavement.
