Tiny Tiger, Ready for Take-Off

I have a little friend who sometimes travels with me. He weighs no more than a half-ounce, and his name is Antonio the Tiny Tiger, or Tony for short. He sometimes looks very sad or worried; it's just his nature.

I think you may have only met him once so far on these pages, after an embarrassing outdoor accident in which he lost an eyeball, and we successfully reattached it, after a delicate touch-and-go surgery.

Antonio travels with me sometimes in a small black mesh bag. The bag is a preventive measure: in case one (or more) of his eyeballs should pop out again, they will at least be easy to find, as they will land in the same little bag as the tiny tiger.

The travel bag (not pictured) doesn't provide much structure, however, and so the little tiger is prone to falling over quite easily. To address this problem, my husband recently gave Antonio the choice of several structures to sit in. This little round thing is the one he picked.

The Dancing Girls were on hand to watch, of course, as we all presumed the little round disc must be a flying machine of some kind. Perhaps a flying saucer from outer space? What adventures might Antonio experience, in his tiny flying saucer ship?

As you can see, the Tiny Tiger is quite the ladies' man, and the Dancing Girls are very fond of him. We all stood around to watch and see what might occur next, but so far nothing much has happened. Perhaps we need to reboot it somehow?

Will there be magic journeys in little Antonio's future? Will the tiny saucer double as a sled, come the first snow? We don't know, but we'll keep an eye out: the Crittergators, the Dancing Girls, and me.

The soundtrack: Bill Conti, Gonna Fly Now, the Rocky theme.
