Great Egret

Last night was quite windy, so we didn't think we would be playing golf this morning, but we bundled up, gritted our teeth and teed up.

On the second hole, Cathy pulled her driver into the stone tee box marker and broke her driver and it went downhill from there. There were times of gusty winds and then calm.

Tony quit on the eighth hole as his shoulder was hurting, so it was decided that we would stop and have breakfast after the rest of us finished the ninth hole.....and that is when I spotted this lovely bird! Not a bad day after all.

I am grateful for the birds that winter here. They are starting to show up!
