Episode IV

Cinema Sunday was a special one today. Special because at the grand old age of 10, my daughter watched her first Star Wars film. 

Big day. She's had the opportunity to watch them before, but wasn't at all fussed... even when we had a big Star Wars day a few years ago for her brother's initiation to the canon. 

And then, out of the blue, a little while ago, she expressed an interest in seeing them, and thus, we started her odyssey today.

To be fair, it's still probably a bigger event for me, and it makes feel like a little kid again, sitting there with my own kids, remembering what it was like as a wee nipper going out to the cinema with my own dad. 

And now we have 3 weeks to get through 7 Star Wars films in readiness for Rogue One, and we'll all be out at the cinema watching a new Star Wars film together.
