We were all mightily relieved this morning to see that a lot of the ice had melted from the track, we'd had doubts about being able to get out if the cold had continued.  Two members had to abandon their car along the track yesterday and I think we've all agreed that this is not a hut to be booked in the winter months.

We went on a shorter, flatter walk to stretch our legs before the drive home and very pretty it was too.
