Mono Monday

We really enjoyed the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra last night. They were joined by the Northampton Bach Choir for an evening of orchestral and choral masterpieces. The concert opened with Handel’s Zadok the Priest, and then Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre. The first half concluded with Poulenc’s Gloria featuring soprano Elin Pritchard. Saint-Saëns’ grand Symphony No.5 ‘Organ’ rounded off the evening. I have to say my favourite of the evening was Zadok the Priest – the choir were magnificent.
I’ve enlisted the help of wife for today’s Mono Monday challenge – Shady. I think she makes a rather good Shady Character (thank you wife)
