My alternative diary

Tiny Tuesday

It’s been a quiet day today culminating in Camera Club tonight. It was a club mono print competition judged by Bob Moore FRPS. He gave a very “entertaining” critique of the prints. He does expect very high technical and creative standard and is quite frank about images that fall below his expectations. His critiques do however contain advice and ideas about how the image could be improved. He ended up with eleven retained images. Of these six scored 19pts and the remaining five 20pts each and from the five he selected the winner, one highly commended and one commended.

My blip today is a tiny leaf on our Hibiscus shrub. A number of buds are sprouting leaves - I don’t know if it thinks its spring but…

Wife’s cold does seem to be improving slowly but she is obviously still unwell as she has decided she will not be going to the climbing wall tomorrow. My symptoms are diminishing (touch wood) so much so I’m going with son to London tomorrow as he has a hospital appointment for tests.
