Rumba

The opening night of DellCon9 .

A heavy game of The Gallerist had been prearranged between three of us.  It proved to be a lot quicker than expected - it seems to be a game that can push along at a reasonable pace if everyone knows the mechanisms.  However, in amongst all this pace I managed to find myself with artworks of type A and B, and buyers wanting types C and D, and found myself well and truly, and justifiably, coming a robust third.

We followed this with a semi-random choice of a lighter game, Cuba, whose dobbers form the blip; where again I found that not joining up supply of sugar with sales of rum again resulted in a robust third place.

Still, an excellent evening.
