Blur

There are several Anna's hummingbirds sticking around for the winter, hanging out at our feeder. I'm missing the bright summer light in which to photograph them, but like the sense of motion here as two males argue about who should be at that feeder.

Also a blur is how fast this year has gone! I thought time would slow down in my retirement years, but it seems to be accelerating -- accelerando poco a poco just came to my mind, a musical term I remember from my flute-playing days.
