Scales Moor

I'm earning so many points at the moment. After a mini-tour of the Central Dales while the weather sorted itself out, I took us to Chapel le Dale for a circuit of Scales Moor. The sun came out the moment we left the car and we enjoyed the most incredible light for our entire walk around the limestone pavements, possibly the best in the country, especially with the dramatic backdrop of Ingleborough and the odd improbable erratic dotted about. We arrived back using the very last bit of red light in the sky. Once again, we never saw another soul all afternoon.
