Tonight's Yacht Race

Because the wind was coming from the South, the yachts headed off towards the wind before turning around and flying down the lake with their spinnakers flying.  It was a beautiful sight.  Here some of the yachts are heading over the start line.  The Californian Poppies and Lupins look lovely, shame that the sun was behind the clouds.

I have had another busy day, starting with some street photography first thing.  Then I met my photography friends for a cuppa and chat for morning tea.  After lunch I played a few games of croquet, always nice being out in the fresh air.  Then I headed to the lake to get the yachts racing.  All in all a great day out.  Time to put my feet up!
