Derwentwater

I had a foot operation booked for this afternoon, so in the morning, took a short walk by the edge of Derwentwater. Just loved the soft light and the gentle autumn tones that are still with us - no big storms yet to lose the leaves - the longest autumn I remember up here - and one of the best.
