Collection

In the early 1980's my sister and I started to visit antique fairs.  I wanted to start collecting something but I didn't have much money or room to store things and as I've always liked photographs, I decided to start collecting old wedding pictures.

Over the years I have collected dozens.  Most of them are from the 1960's and before.  Although I don't go to antiques fairs much now I still manage to find the odd one at Tynemouth Market.  I never pay much money for them - maybe a £1 or a little bit more.

I chose this one as it is one of the earliest I have.  It has the date 15th July 1909 on the back and the message 'With best love, Yours ever, Dot.'
