The Rough and the Smooth

Today Brian had an impromptu day off work - his last day of holiday that needed fitting in before the end of the year, and we had a drive over to Louth. It looked lovely, with all the shops decked in their festive finery.

We also had a little wander round Hubbards Hills, mainly because I needed to get a "Water" shot for the Facebook prompt for this week. This will be my offering! While we were there, we saw a kingfisher! I'd seen them before, but not so clearly! I've included a shot I took as an extra, but I'm hoping Brian managed to get a better shot!

Tomorrow is earmarked for town errands, house cleaning and (maybe)Christmas decorating. That may wait until Sunday though!
