Rose Hip.

There are plenty of interesting walks around here, The Old Lady used to love coming to stay; there was the need to take a dog for its daily exercise and, during a two week holiday, there was never a need to repeat any particular route. We only have Hamish for one week and, this morning, I took him up to the old curling pond.  Although a lot of the vegetation was cleared out a few years ago, it is now so overgrown that I’m surprised the exercise hasn’t been repeated.
 

The rose hip is beside the railway path that we used to come home.


Thanks to Biker Bear for hosting Flower Friday (yet again); unfortunately this isn't a flower any more and I couldn't make it fit the twist of "Words" (and didn't think of checking on the twist until too late.)
