Sgwarnog: In the Field

Silence

Remembering the victims of the Chapecoenese plan crash, we observed a minute's silence at the beginning of the Guiseley v Chester National League fixture this afternoon.

Once the football was underway, Chester took the lead through a neat Alabi overhead kick before Guiseley equalised through a dubiously awarded penalty. Guiseley could have got more out of it, but there weren't many clear chances and Lynch made some good saves in Chester's goal. A personal highlight came from successfully catching an errant ball and returning it smoothly for a Guiseley throw in without making a fool of myself.

The Chester following is well represented in the blipfoto community, and it was good to get a chance to say hello and chat to @kwchas after the final whistle in a mini-blip meet.
