First Winter Sunset

I wasn't expecting get out much today, never mind experience a winter sunset.

I spent much of the day cleaning dad's flat, buying food and welcoming him home. He'd been in hospital for 6 weeks, 5 of which were waiting for care to be arranged so he could come home. He was a little emotional when he arrived. He has early stage dementia, so change can be disorientating. He'd actually enjoyed his time on the ward. I know that seems strange. But he didn't mind the food, enjoyed the communication with the hospital staff and patients, and had someone to care for his every need. 

But I did manage a quick walk before the light disappeared, and was treated to a sunset for making the effort!
