All Change

Forgive the back blip but as I said yesterday I wouldn't have chance to use a computer to blip otherwise,

Set off for Sheffield.  Arrived at the station to discover that the train had been replaced by a bus.  Which meant that it would take us longer to get there.    Well you can get upset or take it in your stride but nothing is going to change it.   We grabbed a coffee in the pub/refreshment place on the station and I was surprised (not sure why) to see a number of people already on their second or more beer of the day and it was only half past nine.  

We settled ourselves on the bus and out came the Prosecco and the start of our road trip.  We did get the train  for the last part of the journey but we arrive almost three hours later than our plan.  Luckily the shops stay open until 8pm.

So shopping, an amazing if somewhat boozy dinner., followed by an eventful taxi journey back the house we had rented. All change into comfortable Christmas PJ's for drinking games!!!
