Mono Monday: On this day: "Lost"

FlyingPRGirl is currently hosting Mono Monoday, and has come up with a cracker of a theme: "Lost", linked to this day in history. (She was inspired by the loss of a squadron of aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle on 5th December 1945.)

For my picture: On 5th December 1933, the US Government finally acknowledged it had LOST the war against the demon drink, and brought 13 years of prohibition to an end. The Green Mill, which claims to be the oldest continuously run jazz club in the United States, was a popular prohibition era Chicago speakeasy.
