Crawle Nisse

This little paper decoration is one of many scattered around the house - stuck on shelves and windowsills.  They are Danish "crawle nisse" - Nisse are little elves that cause mischief - unless you leave things for them - like rice pudding. 

I have a collection of them that my son loves to put up around the house.  Even in his teenager sloth, he jumped up and excitedly found the "best" spot for each one.

It is beginning to feel a little like Christmas.
