Madrid day 4 and a ride out on the Madrid Teleferico for panoramic views of the city. A couple of extras today, one of a sight near the Palacio Real. I've been working with children for all my working life and this sight caught my attention. At times we search for bigger, brighter, louder, more relevant, funnier, more contemporary ..... and as I watched these children, transfixed by a harpist who made no eye contact & had no Disney in his repertoire ... I wondered. The girl standing caused a riot when dad came to move her on to the nearby carousel. The wider scene, including all ages, made me wonder some more. And the second extra is the delightful view of the sunset from our terrace.
