Last full day in Madrid, starting with breakfast of churros from Chocolateria San Gines (not to be missed). On to Basilica San Fransisco El Grande, a circular church, now there's an idea, with one of the largest domes in the world & with origins back to St Francis of Assisi. Not only did we have a great visit but we also got an invite to stay with the mother of the guy selling tickets. And this blip does not do it justice. Then on to Palacio Real, home to royals. Sadly, we didn't get an invite to stay there. Madrid is a wonderful place!
