A Good Tradition

We went down to Alcester St Nicholas night celebrations and met up with blippers Hildasrose ( and Rob) and Judy1and Wobblybob.
We drank mulled wine, ate pork baps and mince pies , then had a beer or two and watched these Morris Dancers outside the Three Tuns pub.
There was a parade of the Boy Bishop, an old tradition, a bit of fun where a boy was chosen to represent the bishop, who stepped down temporarily.
The evening ended with fireworks which were excellent. Rob and Rose went on their way home and we came home to another Whisky Mac as I'm afraid my voice is still awol. Don't know if it helps but it makes you feel very.....festive!
