Me and my little bro.. just after my WRNS passing out parade at HMS Raleigh, Cornwall.... (love his white socks... so cool back then ...obvs)

So sad to see HMS Illustrious sail over the horizon today .... the ex Mr Lupes was a chef on that ship back in the day... and I watched her sail in and out of that harbour many times, back in the way back when....

How times change... wherever do the years go.... 

I kept that hat for a long long while... so cross I don't still have it!!
